Estate Planning Services

Estate Planning

Estate planning is about more than taxes.  At Campione, Campione & Leonard, we take the time to discuss with our clients the goals they have for themselves and their families, then work with them to craft a plan to accomplish those goals in a tax efficient manner.  We offer sophisticated estate planning for the transfer of family wealth, as well as charitable planning.  We also plan for incapacity, including the use of Powers of Attorney and Health Care Designations to ensure that our clients can direct whom they would like to ensure their care if they cannot do so.

Probate and Trust Administration

When a client passes, their family members look to Campione, Campione & Leonard for guidance at what can be a confusing and stressful time.  Our attorneys work with the personal representatives of estates to guide them through the probate process, including the gathering of information, advice and assistance with estate administration, preparation of estate tax returns and distribution of assets.  Often, trusts are used in planning an estate.  We help trustees with trust administration, advising them of their duties and authority, including advice on trust distributions and preparation of accounting.  We also advice trust beneficiaries regarding their rights under the terms of a trust, and whether the trustee is meeting its obligations to them.

Real Estate Law

Our firm supervises hundreds of transactions each year and represents individuals, developers and lending institutions.  We offer complete closing services for Buyers and Sellers including contract negotiations and review, drafting of all necessary documents and the issuance of Title Insurance.  We have years of experience in drafting sales contracts, leases, promissory notes, mortgages and complex security instruments for the use in commercial and residential transactions.

A real estate transaction may appear as a simple contractual matter, but it is one the more complicated areas of the law that can quickly involve very costly and time consuming issues for the untrained.  Whether checking for open or expired building permits with the applicable government agencies, reviewing surveys for potential encroachments or set back violations, identifying and correcting title defects, or dealing with inspection related issues, our attorneys and staff are prepared to identify potential problems as well as demand or accomplish the appropriate remedy.  Our goal is to insure that our clients experience pleasant and stress free closings as we vigilantly and discreetly protect their interests.

For years we have been consistently recognized as a President’s Circle Member and Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Top Contributor by Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund, Inc., the largest title insurance underwriter in the state of Florida.
